The Unimaginable Universe
The Unimaginable Universe
“Without imperfection, you or I would not exist.”
– Stephen Hawking
"The Universe" is just like its name, its unique and "maybe" one of its kind. It's filled with stellar systems, star clusters, nebulae, planets, asteroids, comets, galaxies and what not..! There are some jaw-dropping facts about the Universe. For instance, when you are looking at the Sirius star, you are technically looking into the past because Sirius is a star which is 8.6 light-years away from Earth, it means that it takes 8.6 years for the light to travel from Sirius to Earth. So when you see the Sirius tonight you will be looking at the light which started its journey 8.6 years ago. Also, it takes 8 minutes and 20 seconds for the sunlight to reach on Earth! Isn't that interesting?
The Black Holes are a quite interesting constituent of the Universe. They probably have the strongest gravitational force, so strong that even light cannot escape from them, which made it harder for the scientists to click its pictures. I would write a separate chapter on the Black Holes as they are too interesting to be covered in this one.
You would know more about such interesting facts on this Blog, so stay Connected. :) :) :)
